“For every child in danger,” the work of UNICEF was originated in 1946 and now reaches 190 countries around the world. Their mission is founded on a belief that every child should have access to clean water, food, health care, education and a safe environment in which to grow up. In the UK alone in 2020, over 4 million children live in poverty and that number continues to rise. It is a crisis of a generation and is compounded by the heavy consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The global presence and reach of UNICEF allows for fast localised responding but they rely entirely on voluntary donations and the work of their fine national and international ambassadors to raise funding. The Azpilicueta Family are supporters of UNICEF (UK) and proceeds from their items generously gifted to Footballers4Change will benefit this most worthy cause.
“We have three children that outgrow their clothing so fast. This is a great platform to reuse this clothing and raise funds for a charity that we care for.” -Adriana
